Social Media Reacts To Yoshida Out Of Lineup
Robbie Hyde: “While Masataka Yoshida does have the 3rd highest OPS (.716)/wRC+ (108) and the highest BB% (15.3%) on the Red Sox, they’re 2-11 when he starts, and 3-15 overall in games he’s appeared in.”
@Red_LakE7: “I think we’re seeing what one of the issues was, but I don’t know why early in the season you don’t try to boost his value so maybe you can offload him for a 27 yo AA relief pitcher and a few million in salary relief.”
@bullshark19: “I feel bad for masa but who you playing him over”
@gmills962: “They’ve got to be trying to move him; but at some point, with no injuries, they’re just going to have to release him and bring up one of the many guys that are hitting in Worcester. Just unable to get him the at bats he needs with all the OF’ers healthy.”
@zachdonegan: “I feel for Masa in a way but also the dude thrives in the bench bat role imo.,”
