Torres joined a long list of Tigers players that are dealing with injuries.
He is currently batting .259 with 30 hits, two home runs, 11 RBI’s and 18 runs in 32 games.
Last season, Torres made the All-Star Game in his first season with the franchise.
Before the Tigers, the 29-year-old spent seven years with the New York Yankees (making two All-Star Games in that span).
Tony Paul of The Detroit News wrote: “Of the #Tigers $235-millionish payroll, nearly $90 million is on the injured list. That’s not including day-to-day guys Gleyber Torres and Kenley Jansen. Rotowire called the Tigers the most-injured team in baseball earlier today. That was before the Tarik Skubal news.”
Tigers And Red Sox Right Now

At home, the Tigers are 12-3 in 15 games.
After their series with the Red Sox, they will head on the road to visit the Kansas City Royals on Friday night.
