They are coming off a 3-2 loss on Monday.

This week, the Mets released Christian Arroyo from their organization (via MiLB.com).
Arroyo did not appear in an MLB game for the Mets.
He is currently batting .304 with 51 hits, five home runs and 35 RBI’s in 43 Triple-A games.
Arroyo’s MLB Career

Arroyo was picked in the first round of the 2013 MLB Draft out of high school.
He spent his rookie season with the San Francisco Giants before stints with the Tampa Bay Rays and Cleveland Guardians.
The 31-year-old then had the longest tenure of his career with the Boston Red Sox (3.5 seasons).

Over 295 career games, Arroyo is batting .252 with 231 hits, 24 home runs, 120 RBI’s, 106 runs and eight stolen bases.
He last played in an MLB game during the 2023 season (with the Red Sox).
It will be interesting to see if another team takes a chance on him before the end of the 2026 season.
His strong numbers in Triple-A this year are worthy of a look.

The Mets come into Tuesday night as the last-place team in the National League East with a 26-34 record in 60 games.
They have gone 4-6 over their last ten games (and are 11-19 in 30 games on the road).
Following two more games with the Mariners, the Mets will continue their road trip when they visit the San Diego Padres on Friday night in California.
Last season, they missed the 2025 MLB playoffs (after reaching the 2024 NLCS).
