Rockingham Speedway returns to the spotlight in 2026 as the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series headline a two-day race weekend in early April.

The historic North Carolina oval will host the Black’s Tire 200 on April 3 and the North Carolina Education Lottery 250 on April 4. Both events feature full entry lists, with more trucks than available starting spots.

That means qualifying will decide which teams make the field. The weekend does not include a NASCAR Cup Series race, placing full attention on these two series. The updated entry lists confirm a mix of top contenders, returning drivers, and new faces across both races.

NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series: Black’s Tire 200 Entry List Shows Tight Battle for Spots

The April 3 race features 38 entries competing for 36 positions in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. Corey Heim headlines the field in the No. 1 TRICON Garage Toyota. The updated list confirms the presence of multiple teams from TRICON, Kaulig Racing, and ThorSport Racing.

Notable entries include Carson Hocevar in the No. 77 for Spire Motorsports and Stewart Friesen in the No. 52 for Halmar Friesen Racing. Ben Rhodes appears in the No. 99 for ThorSport Racing, while Tyler Ankrum is listed in the No. 18.

The image also confirms the presence of additional drivers, including Luke Baldwin, Connor Hall, Adam Andretti, Tanner Gray, Giovanni Ruggiero, and Layne Riggs. Entries from Kaulig Racing remain partly unconfirmed, with multiple “TBA” spots still listed. With only 36 trucks making the race, two teams will fail to qualify.

NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series: North Carolina Education Lottery 250 Entry List Expands Field

The April 4 race includes 39 entries for 38 spots in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series. The updated list shows a wide range of drivers from different NASCAR levels.

Sheldon Creed is entered in the No. 00 for Haas Factory Team. Carson Kvapil and Justin Allgaier represent JR Motorsports. Jesse Love and Austin Hill are listed for Richard Childress Racing.

The list also confirms the entries for William Sawalich, Rajah Caruth, and Harrison Burton. Additional names include Garrett Smithley, JJ Yeley, Andrew Patterson, and Blake Lothian. The No. 33 entry for Richard Childress Racing remains a key addition to the field.

Further entries include Corey Day, Brent Crews, Brandon Jones, Nick Sanchez, Dean Thompson, and Parker Retzlaff. One entry will not qualify due to the field limit.

Rockingham Speedway Weekend Highlights Competitive Depth Across Both Series

Both entry lists confirm strong participation for Rockingham’s return. The number of entries exceeding available spots in both races places added importance on qualifying. Teams must secure their position on time to make the grid.

The lists also show a balance between experienced drivers and newer competitors. Organizations such as TRICON Garage, JR Motorsports, and Richard Childress Racing bring multiple entries, increasing competition across the field.

With no Cup Series race on the schedule, these two series take center stage for the weekend. The confirmed entries point to competitive racing and a full field at one of NASCAR’s returning tracks.
