The past several months have been a whirlwind for Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and his wife, Hailee Steinfeld.
Before tying the knot in Santa Barbara, California, Allen won the AP’s Most Valuable Player Award in February. A few months later, the Bills rewarded the 29-year-old quarterback with a new contract. Allen signed a six-year, $330 million contract with a record-breaking $250 million guaranteed.
As for Steinfeld, she starred in the movie “Sinners,” which premiered in April. Before this project, the Oscar-nominated actress hadn’t appeared on screen in a film in six years. She remained busy, voicing Gwen Stacy in the “Spider-Man” films and starring in multiple TV shows.
“Sinners” exceeded the film’s already lofty expectations following its release, becoming the highest-grossing original horror movie in domestic box office history. Earlier this month, Steinfeld won the 2025 Astra Midseason Movie Award for Best Supporting Actress.
The 28-year-old is also featured on the film’s soundtrack with the single, “Dangerous.” However, when it comes to Steinfeld’s next project, she is not returning to music. Perhaps partly inspired by Allen, she’s returning to the big screen in a sports-related film.

Steinfeld will be chasing an Olympic gold medal in her next feature film, The Hollywood Reporter announced on Thursday, July 10. She’ll star opposite Miles Teller in the movie, “Winter Games,” directed by Paul Downs Colaizzo, who co-wrote the script with Patrick Cunnane.
“The story is set in the high-stakes arena of the Winter Olympic Games and, per the studio, centers on a perpetually overlooked skier and a self-sabotaging hockey legend that collide at their breaking points,” THR wrote of the movie. “Their unexpected connection threatens her chance for a medal and his shot at a comeback as they navigate romance and redemption in the Olympic Village.”
While it’s unclear when the movie starts filming and an expected release date was not announced, Steinfeld fans were thrilled over the new project. One woman commented on Instagram, “Awesome !! 👍👍 I can’t hardly wait to see that movie !!” One person added, “YESSS HAILEE 🙌🏼🙌🏼.” Another fan wrote, “Already excited to find out when it’ll be released! Yay! Our Love 👑 Hailee. 🥳🫠🥰💞.”

Of all Allen’s successes this past year, nothing compared to becoming Steinfeld’s husband. The Bills star told reporters of his accomplishments on June 10, “I mean they’ve all been big none other than marrying my best friend. And she makes everything easier, so I don’t really focus on the other stuff. That was the most important decision I’ll make in my life, and I made the right one.”
Before training camp starts later this month, Allen and Steinfeld are spending time in Souther California. They took a road trip over July 4 and traveled to San Diego to attend former Bills safety Micah Hyde’s surprise retirement party.
Most recently, Steinfeld traveled to France to attend Tamara Ralph’s runway show for Paris Fashion Week.
