Taylor Swift confronted a fan who tried to film her inside a VIP suite during the Kansas City Chiefs’ game against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, October 18.
The 36-year-old singer was watching her husband, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, at Arrowhead Stadium when a woman approached the suite and pointed her phone toward Swift.
A TikTok video posted by user @imcampthomas shows the woman trying to record Swift despite security telling her to stop.
Swift noticed the phone and gestured toward the fan, signaling for her to stop recording and return her attention to the game.
The woman then moved away from the suite and returned to her seat.
Taylor Swift Fans React After Security Steps In at Chiefs Game
Several viewers criticized the spectator for continuing to record after security intervened.
“I do not understand how people think this is OK even after she told you to stop you continue on until her bodyguard has to tell you to go,” one person commented.
Another viewer questioned why the fan approached Swift while she was trying to watch the game.
“How do people have zero self awareness or shame getting in someone’s face taking pictures. It’s so awkward. I’m glad she told the person to knock it off and watch the game,” the commenter wrote.
A third person added, “That’s insane. Leave her alone. Geezzz people.”
The video shows Swift responding with a gesture rather than engaging in a lengthy exchange with the spectator.
Swift Spotted Dancing With Caitlin Clark and Este Haim at Arrowhead Stadium
Before the interaction, Swift cheered on Kelce alongside WNBA star Caitlin Clark and musician Este Haim.
The three attended the Chiefs-Chargers matchup together and watched from a suite at Arrowhead Stadium.
Swift wore a long-sleeved red top and black trousers to show her support for Kansas City.
Her jewelry also drew attention, including her engagement ring and wedding band.
A fan account, Swiffer Updates, shared another video showing Swift dancing while watching the action on the field.
Several fans responded to the footage with comments about the singer’s appearance and enthusiasm.
“She’s so gorgeous; it’s unbelievable,” one person wrote on X.
Another added, “She looks happy. Red is her color.”
A third commented, “Taylor Swift in the building! The Chiefs game just got a little more glamorous. Travis Kelce better give her something to celebrate tonight!”
The game marked another public appearance for Swift in support of Kelce, whom she married earlier this year.
Her appearance in Kansas City came one day after she attended the 2026 Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday, October 17.
The singer wore a pale blue Dior gown on the red carpet before changing into a dark blue Ralph Lauren dress for a performance later in the evening.
During the event, Swift performed several songs, including “The Fate of Ophelia.”
