Taylor Swift reportedly won’t release official wedding photos from her wedding to Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, citing concerns about public reaction to the couple’s lavish celebration.
According to Rob Shuter’s “Naughty But Nice!” newsletter, sources say Swift worries images from the reported $30 million wedding could shift attention from her marriage to the event’s cost.
The report follows claims that the Daily Mail obtained photographs from the couple’s private July ceremony at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
“Taylor has spent years building a connection with ordinary fans, and she knows those pictures could change the conversation overnight,” a source told Shuter.
“Instead of celebrating her marriage, people could be questioning her wealth, her spending and whether she still understands how the rest of America lives.”
Neither Swift nor Kelce has publicly confirmed the reported concerns about releasing their official wedding photographs.
Taylor Swift Reportedly ‘Furious’ After Private Wedding Photos Leak
Sources told “Naughty But Nice!” that Swift was upset when the Daily Mail leaked photographs allegedly from inside the lavish ceremony.
According to the report, guests and workers signed nondisclosure agreements before the event.
“Taylor was furious because this was supposed to be a tightly controlled, private celebration,” a source claimed.
“Everyone had been told to keep quiet, and the NDAs were there for a reason. She never expected those images to get out.”
Another insider described the reported leak as a breach of trust.
“When you go to extraordinary lengths to protect your privacy, a leak like this feels like a betrayal,” the source said.
“It makes you question who you can trust and whether anything can truly remain private anymore.”
The report did not identify who allegedly supplied the photographs or whether anyone violated a nondisclosure agreement.
Insider Claims Swift Has Concerns About Releasing Official Wedding Pictures
Shuter’s sources also said Swift is considering how publicly sharing photos from the celebration could affect her image.
The reported wedding cost $30 million, although the couple has not publicly verified that figure.
“Taylor understands that controlling the image is part of protecting the brand,” a source told the newsletter.
“Sometimes, what you choose not to show the world becomes a bigger story than anything you reveal.”
The insider did not indicate whether Swift and Kelce plan to release photographs at a later date.
The report also did not establish whether the couple has made a final decision about publishing official wedding images.
Wedding Decorations Were Reportedly Destroyed After the Ceremony
Separate reporting from the Daily Mail described extensive measures allegedly taken to keep wedding decorations from reaching the public.
According to the outlet, workers dismantled millions of dollars‘ worth of custom-made decorations after the ceremony, transported them from New York to Pennsylvania and burned them.
An insider claimed the decision was intended to prevent people from taking or reselling pieces from the celebration.
“They didn’t want people to steal it and then auction it or sell it so they just burned it all,” the source said.
The insider also claimed Swift did not personally order the decorations’ destruction.
The report described an elaborate setup that took months to design and construct.
Workers allegedly built the custom decorations on the West Coast, then shipped them across the country to Madison Square Garden.
The shipment reportedly required 11 semi-trucks, which the insider described as “pretty crazy.”
Among the reported decorations were Colosseum-inspired walls, artificial trees, and fabric backdrops featuring forest scenes.
The design also allegedly included a 35-foot-tall artificial greenhouse and a peach-colored tent intended for games.
