While Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes prepares to face the Los Angeles Chargers for their 2025 season opener, his wife, Brittany Mahomes, is reliving memories from her 30th birthday bash.
Over Labor Day weekend, Brittany took a private jet to Nashville to celebrate her 30th birthday with some of her closest friends, including Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce‘s fiancée, Taylor Swift.
The girl group included Lyndsay Bell, whose husband, Blake Bell, is a former tight end for the Chiefs, Miranda Hogue, Cass Greinert, and Chestley Strother. While fan photos of Swift with the birthday crew emerged over the weekend, Brittany shared an album of photos on Instagram that included a photo of the pop star.
The 14-time Grammy winner joined Brittany at the Twelve Thirty Club on August 29, where they both sipped lychee martinis. Fans immediately noticed that Swift was wearing her custom “T” Lorraine Schwartz chain around her neck.
After debuting the new piece of jewelry at the 2025 Grammys as a chain around her thigh, Swift wore it as a necklace while attending Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans, confirming the “T” was a nod to Kelce.
When Brittany shared a new photo of the two women hanging out in Nashville, the picture caught Kelce’s attention.

Brittany posted another album of photos from her birthday getaway on Thursday, September 4. The first photo featured Swift, who’s 5-foot-10, towering over Brittany, and balancing a martini on her head.
The mother of three shared a heartfelt message in the caption. She wrote in part, “The GROUP✨ So incredibly honored to have the most joyful friends. They truly made the weekend the BEST time!… My friends also spoiled me 🥹.”
Kelce, who flew to Brazil with the team on Wednesday, gave the post a like. As did Fox Sports analyst Erin Andrews and the “New Heights” podcast’s account.
One fan commented, “Beautiful ladies. Wow, Taylor is the tallest by a million 🤗.” Another person wrote, “Taylor is me with all my friends. Lol the tall one in the back 😂.” Of course, when Swift stands by Kelce, who’s 6-foot-5, she appears average height.

During a press conference in São Paulo on Thursday, Kelce spoke about how his life has changed since proposing to Swift. “I got one more ring for it,” he said. “I would say ever since I’ve been dating Taylor, life has been fun, it’s been exciting. Obviously, it’s a lot more eyes, and I accept that… but I’m living on a high.”
Mahomes, sitting next to Kelce during the presser added, “It is a dream, dude.”
Mahomes has championed their relationship since day one and is a huge fan of Swift. “I’ve met a lot of famous people now in my life,” Mahomes told TIME last year. “Taylor’s probably the most down-to-earth person that’s been on that stage for that long.”
According to a recent report, Swift is planning to be in Brazil for Week 1. Fans will keep an eye out for Brittany and Swift sharing a suite at Corinthians Arena on Friday night.
