Eagles GM Howie Roseman continues to garner praise following the NFL Draft.

When it comes to the best executives in the NFL, Philadelphia Eagles GM Howie Roseman is often brought up. Coming off another strong showing in the draft, he continues to earn praise across the league.

During the April 28th episode of “NFL Draft Daily,” ESPN’s Matt Miller was asked his thoughts on how the Eagles fared in the 2026 draft. He had nothing but positive things to say, going as far as to put Roseman on the mountaintop when it comes to NFL GMs.

“I think Howie Roseman is the best general manager in football,” Miller said. “Howie does a great job every year of drafting for future need.”

Roseman made waves in round one, executing a trade with the Dallas Cowboys to move up to pick No. 20 and nabbing WR Makai Lemon. Among their other notable selections was former Vanderbilt tight end Eli Stowers.

Now that the dust has settled from the draft, Roseman will continue to tinker with the Eagles roster in an effort to keep them in the title hunt in 2026.

Skip Bayless Praises Eagles GM Howie Roseman Following Draft Night Trade With Cowboys

Out of all the Eagles’ draft moves, their actions in round one stand out the most. Lemon was viewed as one of the top wide receivers in the draft and managed to fall to Philadelphia at the tail end of the first round. On top of that, Roseman pulled off a trade with the franchise’s longest rival to add another dynamic weapon to their offense.

While on “The Arena: Gridiron,” Skip Bayless weighed in on the Eagles and Cowboys doing business during the first round of the draft. As a known supporter of the iconic franchise, he was displeased to see Roseman outmaneuver Jerry Jones.

“Howie Roseman just runs Super Bowl rings around Jerry Jones,” Bayless said. “He steals Makai Lemon…Not only is he the best receiver, he went to the very best place for him and for them.”

Lemon put together a breakout campaign at USC last season, totaling 1,156 yards and nine touchdowns across 12 games. He now joins an Eagles offense that is headlined by stars such as Jalen Hurts, DeVonta Smith, and Saquon Barkley.

NFL Analyst Gives Blunt Take on Eagles GM Howie Roseman

Another key talking head in the NFL who has given Roseman his flowers since the draft ended is Kay Adams. During the April 27th installment of her “Up & Adams” show, she also crowned him the league’s best executive.

“Howie makes you talk about him,” Adams said. “Nobody did better at GMing I don’t think in the 2026 draft than that dirty dog.”

Time and time again, Roseman has proven to be one of if not the best GM in the NFL. He’s made countless moves of the years to get the Eagles over the hump, resulting in a pair of Super Bowl victories.

Roseman still has some things to address regarding the Eagles’ roster, primarily the ongoing AJ Brown saga. That said, he has once again filled the pipeline with young talent that should keep Philadelphia competitive for the foreseeable future.
