Trevino (back) could be activated Wednesday, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports. Trevino has ramped up his activity since last Friday, when he caught in the bullpen and hit in a batting cage. He caught a simulated inning Monday and was one of the batters Nick Lodolo (finger) faced in a sim game Tuesday.

Trevino (back) caught a live batting practice session Monday, MLB.com reports. Trevino is ramping up his baseball activity after catching simulated innings and hitting in a cage last Friday. Next up for the catcher will be standing in the batter's box Tuesday against rehabbing starter Nick Lodolo (finger).

Trevino (back) caught two simulated innings and hit in the batting cages Friday, MLB.com reports. Trevino has elevated his baseball activity this week, which began with light throwing sessions. If he comes out of Friday's activity without an issue, manager Terry Francona will begin ramping up his activity.
