Spike TV and the UFC announced two more featured bouts for “The Ultimate Finale” card on June 19 in Las Vegas.
The fights announced today include a middleweight bout between Aaron Simpson and Chris Leben and a lightweight match between Dennis Siver and Spencer Fisher.
Simpson (7-0) last appeared this January, where he scored a close decision victory over Tom Lawlor. The win boosted Simpson’s UFC victory streak to three in a road. He’ll face Leben, a holdover from the first season of Ultimate Fighter who, despite losing as regularly as he wins, sticks around the UFC because of his hard-nosed and exciting fight style.
Siver and Fisher are also known for having exciting fights. Siver is a two-time recipient of the “Knockout of the Night” award for victories over Nate Mohr and Paul Kelly. Fisher holds victories over UFC notables such as Thiago Alves, Sam Stout and Jeremy Stephens, and has twice won “Fight of the Night” honors.
