Welterweights Anthony Johnson and Dan Hardy are set to face off in the co-main event of March’s UFC Fight Night 24 event.
MMAJunkie.com first reported the negotiations on Monday.
UFC Fight Night 24 takes place March 26 in Seattle and will air on Spike TV. The headlining bout features light heavyweights Tito Ortiz and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira.
Hardy has suffered two losses in a row. The first came at the hands of welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre in a title fight last March. Hardy was then knocked out by Carlos Condit in October.
Johnson will fight for the first time since November 2009 due to a knee injury.
