WWE Monday Night RAW Preview, Results & Highlights for June 15th, 2015

WWE Money in the Bank 2015

Kevin Owens attacks John Cena after Cena defeated Owens in their rematch at Money in the Bank.

Tonight’s Monday Night RAW rolled through the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio — getting the arena warm before Tuesday night’s NBA Finals Game 6 between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors.

And you know who else is in the house? That would be Cleveland Browns starting quarterback Johnny Manziel.

Here is what happened on Monday Night RAW throughout the night (and it was an eventful night):

Monday Night RAW Opened With a Tribute to the ‘American Dream’ Dusty Rhodes

R.I.P Virgil Runnels.

Dean Ambrose Opened Up RAW By Attacking Seth Rollins & Staged a Sit-in

After Ambrose came out and chased WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins from the ring, he grabbed a chair from ringside and said he would sit in the center of the ring until Rollins came back out.

When RAW returned from commercial break, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon said they had it taken care of. Mr. Money in the Bank Sheamus came out and declared he was the next WWE Champion. Sheamus and Ambrose then had an impromptu match.

Ambrose continues his momentum by defeating the Celtic Warrior. After the match, Randy Orton came down to the ring to attack Sheamus. The two have been attacking each other over the past few weeks, so this continues their feud.

Later in the night, Randy Orton had a match with Kane, and Sheamus got involved and attacked Orton, costing him a victory. These two look like they’ll have a match with each other at Battleground.

Kevin Owens Issues an Open Challenge for a Match

…that was answered by Dolph Ziggler. However, Owens stated that the NXT Championship would not be the line, upsetting the sold out crowd in Ziggler’s hometown of Cleveland.

Owens continued his dominance on RAW by defeating Ziggler 1-2-3, even with the lovely Lana by his side. After the match, Owens attacked Ziggler — just like he attacked Cena last night at Money in the Bank — and threw Ziggler into the timekeeper’s area.

Bray Wyatt Makes His Presence Known

At Money in the Bank, the New Face of fear attacked Roman Reigns and cost him an opportunity to win the briefcase. On RAW he proclaimed that they were “just getting started.”

Kevin Owens Attacked Machine Gun Kelly

No words for Owens in the last two nights. He has been impressive and unreal in hurting both John cena …and now one of his biggest fans.

Brock Lesnar Returned to Monday Night RAW to Challenge Seth Rollins to a Championship Match

On Monday Night RAW, Brock Lesnar returned and will get the rematch for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship he is owed at Battleground against Seth Rollins.

The authority delivered the bombshell to Rollins, who was frozen in fear at the site of the Beast Incarnate returning to RAW. Reports said Lesnar was set to return next week in Indianapolis, but showed up to RAW one week early.

RAW Preview

In the most heart-breakening fashion that left even the Lunatic Fringe speechless, Seth Rollins thanks to some heart and luck retained the WWE World Heavyweight Championship last night at Money in the Bank when both men grabbed the WWEWHC and fell down at the same time — but it was Rollins who wrestled it away.

A quiet, methodical Bray Wyatt also focused on his next victim, Roman Reigns — a feud that was rumored months ago — and cost him Money in the Bank. The man who capitalized? The Celtic Warrior Sheamus, who now has an opportunity at the WWEWHC any time in the next calendar year.

Oh, and John Cena? He defeated Kevin Owens and attempted to shake Owens’ hand after the match as a sign of respect. Owens didn’t take too kindly to it, and attacked Cena and power bombed him onto the ring apron on the outside, leaving Cena to walk to the back noticeably limping.
