Williams averaged 8.0 points, 2.1 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 0.4 steals in 17.1 minutes per game across 14 regular-season appearances (two starts) in 2025-26. Williams joined Golden State on a two-way contract in mid-February and saw an expanded role at times for the injury-plagued Warriors. The 27-year-old wing will look to earn a full-time NBA roster spot next season, as he's no longer eligible for a two-way pact.

Nate Williams: Breaking News
Won't start Friday
Williams won't start Friday's game against the Kings, Kenzo Fukuda of ClutchPoints.com reports. Williams got the spot start in Thursday's loss to the Lakers but will retreat to the second unit Friday. He has averaged 4.6 points in 11.6 minutes per tilt over his last five appearances off the bench.
Productive in Thursday's start
Williams finished with 17 points (7-13 FG, 3-6 3Pt), four rebounds and three assists over 35 minutes during Thursday's 119-103 loss to the Lakers. After sitting out the prior three games, Williams stepped back into the starting five and tied Brandin Podziemski for the team lead in scoring. Williams has scored at least 17 points with multiple made three-pointers all four times this season he's played more than 20 minutes. With the Warriors focused on getting their stars healthy for the Play-In Tournament, the fourth-year guard could see big workloads again during the final two games of the regular season.
