Rogers went 2-for-3 with a triple and two runs scored in Sunday's 7-1 win over the Rangers. Rogers delivered his first triple of the season and just the seventh of his six-year MLB career. The veteran catcher hasn't delivered many hits in general this year, as he's batting just .182 in a backup role to Dillon Dingler. Rogers doesn't have much fantasy value due to his lack of regular playing time and poor production in general so far.

Rogers went 1-for-3 with a double and an RBI in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Red Sox. Making just his sixth start of the season through 21 games, Rogers delivered his second hit and third RBI. Both of his hits have been doubles, but he's otherwise gone 0-for-15 with six strikeouts. Rogers is the clear No. 2 catcher in Detroit behind Dillon Dingler, and the former isn't seeing enough playing time at the moment to carry any meaningful fantasy value in most formats.

Rogers cleared concussion protocol Monday and will be available for Opening Day, Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports. Rogers suffered a concussion at some point down the stretch of spring training, but it won't impact his availability for the start of the 2026 season. "He's already caught a couple of bullpens today and hit in the cage," said manager A.J. Hinch on Monday. "I'm going to get him a couple of at-bats tonight. Tomorrow, he'll catch part of the game." The 30-year-old is in line to open his sixth major-league season as the backup catcher behind Dillon Dingler.
