Last week’s episode of WWE SmackDown was full of surprises, with Fatal Influence making their mark on the main roster.
Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid made their presence felt, attacking Paige, Brie Bella, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss during their WWE Women’s Tag Team Title match.
Later that night, Jayne had her official main roster debut match. She faced reigning WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley in a non-title bout.
It ended in a disqualification after Henley and Reid interfered as the trio laid out Ripley in the middle of the ring.
Jacy Jayne vs. Charlotte Flair Announced
Following last week’s attacks, Jayne is set to face another big name this Friday on WWE SmackDown, none other than The Queen herself, Charlotte Flair.
It’s another tall task for Jayne, facing someone of Flair’s stature. However, the presence of Henley and Reid is going to be a huge factor in the match.
Alexa Bliss is expected to be in the corner of her tag team partner and best friend.
Based on how they were booked last week, it seems like Fatal Influence will be big players in the WWE Women’s Division. Jayne has already fought the WWE Women’s Champion and will now fight a 14-time WWE Women’s World Champion.
As for Henley and Reid, they could be eyeing a shot at the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles currently held by Paige and Brie Bella.
Ricky Saints to Make His Main Roster Debut
Last Friday, WWE announced that Ricky Saints has been called up to the main roster and will be making his debut in this week’s episode. His opponent has not yet been announced, but it’s going to be an interesting match regardless.
After more than a year on NXT, Saints had his farewell match last Tuesday. He lost to Shiloh Hill as he now heads to WWE SmackDown.
The company shared a video of his farewell promo to the NXT crowd on social media.
“You guys repaid me with love, with stroke, with buying the shirts, with all of that,” Saint said, via Sports Illustrated. “I don’t think that I would even get this far had it not been for the people here, and definitely for the people in the back. If this is the last time that you see me in this NXT ring, then thank you from the bottom of my heart, and I would hope that this Friday on SmackDown… I would hope that you watch me there, too.”
Saints had a very successful stint in NXT. He was a one-time NXT Champion and a one-time NXT North American Champion.
Other Stars Advertised to Appear on WWE SmackDown
In addition to Fatal Influence, Charlotte Flair and Ricky Saints, there are plenty of WWE Superstars advertised to appear on SmackDown at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
According to WWE.com, Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley, Drew McIntyre, Jade Cargill, Tiffany Stratton and Randy Orton likely to be on the show. However, all WWE shows are subject to change.
The Undisputed WWE Champion is also set to open the show.
WWE SmackDown has a start time of 8:00 p.m. EST and is televised on the USA Network in the United States and on Netflix in other countries.
