Now a key contributor at Heavy, Tim Lindsey has spent much of his time covering major sports leagues on multiple platforms over the last decade. After starting as a part-time writer at FanSided back in 2018, he has worked his way up to being a major contributor for sites such as Sports Illustrated, PFSN, and Sportsnaut. Throughout his professional career, Tim has mainly been focused on leagues such as the NFL and the NBA, as well as college sports. Particularly with the NFL, popular teams like the Green Bay Packers, Pittsburgh Steelers, and New York Giants have been a major point of emphasis for him over the years. From front office moves and injury news to game-by-game results and statistical trends, he can cover any league from any angle and any depth.
Education
Before finding his way to Heavy Sports, Tim Lindsey took the road less traveled on his way to gaining an education. After taking a year off post-high school in 2018, he ended up enrolling at College of DuPage, a community college in Glen Ellyn, IL. After finishing an associate of arts degree, he earned a certificate in Communication from Dartmouth College and a certificate in Sociology from Duke University.
