Update 9:50 AM November 19: The deal appears to be bogus. Users who ordered the $89 PS4 have received emails from Amazon canceling the order. Here’s a screenshot of the message received by our intern:
Update 3:46 PM: Another update for you — the deal appears to be live again, this time from two sellers. Again, keep in mind that Amazon backs all third-party purchases, so the worst that could happen for you is a refund for the full amount. The best thing? Well, that would be a fricken PS4 for fricken $89. The deals are live again here.
Update 12:48 PM: Amazon has quickly removed the deal as we suspected, so it is unfortunately no longer available. No word on whether Amazon will honor the deal for those who already purchased. But so far, no users have shared any cancelation emails from Amazon. Amazon’s lowest PS4 price is $365, which is still $34 cheaper than Walmart or Target. (Original story below.)
This is NOT a drill. If you’re looking to pick up a PS4 for yourself or as a gift for someone this Christmas, right now is the time to do it, as Amazon currently has an $89.99 PS4 console listed. Clearly, this sale won’t last, but hopefully you can get in and purchase the PlayStation 4 console before the deal ends.
The deal includes a PlayStation 4 console, DualShock 4 controller, wired mono headset, usb charging cable, power cable and HDMI cable — everything you need to start up your PS4 console. Head over to Amazon to pick up the deal, which likely won’t last long as it’s probably a pricing mistake. But, it’s still live as of posting this, so you might have a chance. Keep in mind that although this is a brand new seller on Amazon, your purchase is covered by Amazon. So, it might be worth a shot.
Thanks to NeoGaf user KiDdYoNE for the find.
