Lee is absent from the lineup for Tuesday's game versus the Mariners. It's a well-earned day off for Lee, who had started each of the previous 16 contests. Tristan Gray will grab a start at shortstop and bat eighth for the Twins.

Brooks Lee: Breaking News
Supplies Minnesota's lone runs
Lee went 1-for-3 with a walk and a two-run home run during the Twins' 4-2 loss to the Rays on Sunday. The Twins were blanked through the first six innings of Sunday's game, but Lee got his team on the board after cracking a two-run homer off Jesse Scholtens in the seventh frame. It was Lee's second homer of the three-game series and his fifth of the 2026 season. Since April 1, he has slashed .269/.337/.487 with one steal, 15 RBI and 11 runs scored over 86 plate appearances.
Homers in three-hit game
Lee went 3-for-4 with a double and a solo home run during Friday's 6-2 loss to the Rays. Lee collected three hits Friday against the Rays to give him back-to-back outings with a trio of hits. He clubbed a solo home run out to right field to cut the Twins' deficit from three to two in the fifth inning and also doubled in the ninth inning as the team tried to mount an unsuccessful late rally. It was a slow start for the 25-year-old, who had just five hits in his first 30 at-bats on the season, but he's now slashing .263/.322/.438 with four home runs and 13 RBI.
