Anthony Scaramucci, the New York financier who was Donald Trump’s communications director for a few short days, has been married twice, and the woman identified as his first wife, Lisa Miranda Scaramucci, is the mother of his daughter, Amelia, an aspiring actress, and his two oldest sons.
On July 31, it was announced that Scaramucci had already resigned as communications director, perhaps at the behest of new Chief of Staff John Kelly.
Scaramucci’s family life has been in the news recently with a report in Page Six that his second wife, Deidre Ball Scaramucci, has filed for divorce from him. Page Six claims that Deidre is not a fan of Donald Trump, Scaramucci’s new boss, although her lawyer has denied that political ambition plays any role in the divorce decision. Page Six also reported that Deidre was eight months pregnant with Scaramucci’s son, James, when she filed for divorce in early July. She has since given birth to the child.
Lisa Miranda Scaramucci, 54, is also not a fan of the president, judging from her Facebook and Twitter pages, where she retweets Hillary Clinton and writes about politics and women’s issues. She was married to Anthony Scaramucci for 23 years until 2011.

She wrote on a comment thread about politics: “Now Aunt Lorraine: Any chance you can make me some of that amazing baby eggplant and stuffed artichokes before Trump blows up the world…. I mean makes America great again?” She also wrote that she agrees with the opinion that Hillary Clinton lost votes because she is a woman.
On November 9, 2016, she wrote, “Susan B. Anthony could only dream of a day she could vote for a woman president; and although today there is so much to be thankful for… there still is so much more to do… this was a complicated election fueled mostly by hate… Congratulations to those who chose to support Donald Trump; I sincerely hope that he proves to be all u hoped for…As for the Hillary supporters … Like, Susan B. She shared a statement by Bernie Sanders on Facebook and said she agreed with it. The statement said in part, “To the degree that Mr. Trump is serious about pursuing policies that improve the lives of working families in this country, I and other progressives are prepared to work with him. To the degree that he pursues racist, sexist, xenophobic and anti-environment policies, we will vigorously oppose him.”
She wrote of Bernie: “Say what you may about Bernie’s extreme liberal stance but he is indeed a breath of fresh integrity…”
On Twitter, Lisa Miranda has retweeted Hillary Clinton.

2. Lisa Is the Mother of Scaramucci’s Three Oldest Children, Including Daughter Amelia, an Actress
Anthony Scaramucci has three children with Lisa Miranda: Anthony Jr., AJ, and Amelia. He has two sons with Deidre, including the newborn.
Lisa and Scaramucci met in church as college undergrads and were married 23 years until 2011, Page Six reports. Page Six quoted one of Lisa’s friends as saying, “When they were married, they had nothing, they were literally counting quarters in a jar to figure out what they were going to have for dinner that night…Things went bad when Anthony became very successful in the late ‘90s.”

Scaramucci disclosed the investment in the movie on his financial disclosure form, reports Daily Variety. “His form lists a value of $250,001 to $500,000 in the movie, and so far no income,” Daily Variety reports that the film “started production in July, and it is described by its producers as a ‘musical dreamed’ that is ‘completely capturing the nuances of High School: teen angst, unrequited love, the mean popular girl, and peer pressure making it destined to become an essential part of pop culture for generations to come.’ Promotion for the movie is being connected to an anti-bullying campaign.”
Lisa Miranda has tweeted several times about the movie.
On LinkedIn, Amelia says she will graduate from Brown University in 2018. Lisa, going by the name Lisa Scaramucci, told The Brown Daily Herald that she was “very thrilled” her daughter, Amelia, had been accepted to the university. The newspaper quoted Lisa as saying, “Everyone seems so happy.”
The couple’s third child, AJ, is an entrepreneur in residence in Los Angeles who used to work for Google, according to his LinkedIn page.
3. Scaramucci’s Second Wife Deidre Is Now Divorcing Him, Reports Say
Anthony Scaramucci has been married to his second wife, Deidre, since only 2014. However, Page Six reported on July 28 that Deidre is divorcing Scaramucci.
According to Page Six, Deirdre filed for divorce in early July while eight months pregnant and has since given birth to the couple’s son; the divorce is getting ugly with allegations flying back and forth. Anthony Scaramucci was photographed on July 29 pulling into the driveway of the couple’s Long Island home.
Deidre grew unhappy with Scaramucci’s “naked political ambition,” according to Page Six, which quoted an anonymous source as alleging, “Deidre is not a fan of Trump, and she hasn’t exactly been on board and supportive of Anthony and his push to get back into the White House.” However, The New York Daily News reports that Deidre’s lawyer denies that Anthony’s political ambitions played any role in her decision to divorce him.
Although she donated money to Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, a Republican, and Jeb Bush, the former Deidre Ball “donated $5,400 to the congressional campaign of anti-Trump Democrat Kathleen Rice in 2015,” Page Six reports.

After reports broke that his second wife was filing for divorce, Anthony Scaramucci took to Twitter to implore people to leave his family alone.

His first wife doesn’t have much of a public profile. However, Lisa has been a board member for the Lymphoma Research Foundation.

He started a hedge fund, reported People Magazine, before selling it and starting SkyBridge, “a global investment firm specializing in hedge fund products.” He was on Trump’s campaign finance committee.
