Franklin caught both of his targets for 15 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 38-6 win over the Falcons. Franklin's touchdown against Atlanta was his second of the season, as the rookie wideout continues to play in a rotational role in the Broncos' passing offense. The Oregon product played 44 percent of the Broncos' offensive snaps Sunday, and he's played over 50 percent of snaps in just one of his 10 games this season. Though Franklin's development thus far has been a positive sign for his future NFL success, his limited usage makes him unreliable for fantasy purposes. The Broncos head to Las Vegas for a matchup with the Raiders in Week 12.

Troy Franklin Latest News
Finds end zone in Week 11
Minimal production in loss
Franklin caught one of two targets for nine yards in Sunday's 16-14 loss to the Chiefs. Franklin recorded just one catch for the third-straight contest, as the rookie has played snap percentages of 40 percent or less in that stretch. The 21-year-old has seen his usage diminish as quarterback Bo Nix has consistently spread the ball around in recent weeks. As Franklin's connection with Nix is already established from their time playing together at Oregon, the wideout should see his role improve in Denver's offense as he continues to develop in the NFL. However, barring injuries, Franklin should be difficult to trust going forward to see enough looks in the passing game to make him viable for fantasy purposes on a weekly basis. He'll look to get more involved in a Week 11 matchup against the Falcons.
One grab in Week 9
Franklin caught one of four targets for 19 yards in Sunday's 41-10 loss to the Ravens. Franklin finished Sunday's game third in targets behind fellow wideouts Courtland Sutton (10) and Lil'Jordan Humphrey (5). Unfortunately, the rookie receiver was only able to reel in one pass from quarterback Bo Nix. Though Nix and Franklin have begun to develop their chemistry in the NFL after playing together at Oregon, the pair will likely continue to be inconsistent as the Broncos' offense goes through growing pains during the 2024 campaign. Franklin will look to bounce back in Week 10, albeit in a tough matchup against the division-rival Chiefs.
Paces pass catchers Thursday
Franklin secured five of six targets for 50 yards in the Broncos' 33-10 win over the Saints on Thursday night. Franklin led the Broncos across the board in receiving stats, setting the pace in receptions, receiving yards and targets. The rookie also tallied a team-high 30-yard catch, and all of his metrics Thursday qualified as season/career highs. The one-time college teammate of Bo Nix appears to be upping his NFL chemistry with the rookie signal-caller heading into a favorable Week 8 home matchup against the Panthers on Sunday, Oct. 27.
Finds end zone in loss
Franklin caught two of three targets for 31 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 23-16 loss to the Chargers. He added one rush for five yards. Franklin's trip to the end zone was the first of his young career while the rookie saw a major uptick in his usage in Week 6. The wideout played 65 percent of the Broncos' offensive snaps Sunday after averaging a roughly 22 percent snap share in his first four games. Franklin is a talented wideout who should continue to develop within the Broncos' passing attack, especially with an existing connection with his college quarterback Bo Nix at the helm in Denver. The 21-year-old will look to build off his solid performance against the Chargers when the Broncos visit the Saints in Week 7.
Minimal involvement against Raiders
Franklin caught one of his two targets for 20 yards in Sunday's 34-18 win over the Raiders. Franklin played just 11 of the Broncos' 63 offensive snaps Sunday, the fewest of any Denver wide receiver. Despite his minimal usage, the rookie hit a season-high for receiving yards (20) on his one catch against the Raiders. It's possible Franklin's role could grow within Denver's offense as the season progresses while his college teammate and current quarterback Bo Nix continues to develop this season. Until then, the former Oregon wideout will be off the fantasy radar. The Broncos are set to host the Chargers in Week 6.
Four targets in win
Franklin secured two of his four targets for minus-two yards in Sunday's 10-9 win over the Jets. Though Franklin has seen his snap share increase each week, the rookie wideout continues to struggle to get things going as part of a floundering Denver offense. The Oregon product currently sits fourth on the wide receiver depth chart behind Courtland Sutton, Josh Reynolds and Lil'Jordan Humphrey, so he should continue to see limited opportunities barring injuries. Franklin should not be trusted for fantasy purposes in Week 5 when the Broncos host the Raiders.
Two grabs in Week 3
Franklin caught two of five targets for 11 yards in Sunday's 26-7 win over the Buccaneers. Franklin's two catches were his first grabs of the season after being held catchless in his Week 2 debut. The rookie wideout played 25 percent of the Broncos' offensive snaps Sunday, up from his 18 percent snap share in Week 2. His five targets in the contest were the third most of any Denver pass catcher, behind Courtland Sutton (11) and Lil'Jordan Humphrey (8). Despite his increased involvement, Franklin's position on the depth chart with an inefficient passing attack both work against him in his ability to produce for fantasy purposes. The 21-year-old Oregon product will continue to be difficult to trust in a Week 4 matchup against the Jets.
Held catchless in debut
Frankin failed to secure his lone target in Sunday's 13-6 loss to the Steelers. After being a healthy scratch in Week 1, Franklin was a complete nonfactor against the Steelers in Week 2. The rookie wideout saw the field for 12 of the Broncos' 61 offensive snaps, and he was unable to connect with his former college quarterback Bo Nix on the one target thrown his direction. Buried on the depth chart in a struggling passing attack, Franklin should remain far off the fantasy radar heading into a Week 3 matchup with the Buccaneers.
