Burton caught one of four targets for eight yards in Sunday's 34-27 loss to the Chargers. Burton played just 18 of the Bengals' 82 offensive snaps as Cincinnati's No. 4 wideout, behind Ja'Marr Chase (81), Tee Higgins (69) and Andrei Iosivas (56). The rookie receiver has yet to take on a major role in the Bengals' passing attack, recording just four receptions for 107 yards on 14 targets in nine games. Going forward, Burton will likely continue to be the odd man out most weeks barring injuries to the wide receiving corps. The Bengals head into a Week 12 bye before squaring off against the Steelers in Week 13.
Iosivas caught all three of his targets for 46 yards in Sunday's 34-27 loss to the Chargers. Iosivas saw his playing time take a hit Sunday with the return of Tee Higgins to the lineup, but the second-year wideout recorded his highest yardage total since Week 3. Though Iosivas has shown flashes this season, his role as the No. 3 wide receiver with both Ja'Marr Chase and Higgins healthy will limit his potential for consistent fantasy production. The Princeton product would be best left out of fantasy lineups when the Bengals return from their Week 12 bye to face the Steelers in Week 13.
Herbert failed to record a single rushing attempt or target in Sunday's 34-27 loss to the Chargers. Herbert was not a part of the Bengals' offensive game plan Sunday, as the veteran running back still has yet to see a single touch on offense for Cincinnati. Herbert did, however, gain 29 yards on his only kick return in the contest. It's possible that the 26-year-old may still be taking time to get acclimated into the Bengals' offense, but it is surprising to see such limited playing time for a player that the Bengals traded for ahead of the trade deadline. Meanwhile, fellow running back Chase Brown has continued to see a massive workload as Cincinnati's lead back. Herbert will look to get more involved in the offense when the Bengals come out of their Week 12 bye to face the Steelers on Dec. 1.
Wilson was claimed off waivers by the Bengals on Tuesday. Wilson will head to Cincinnati after being waived by the Patriots on Monday. With DJ Turner (collarbone) and Dax Hill (knee) both on injured reserve, Wilson will likely operate in a significant role in the Bengals' secondary. Over 10 games with the Patriots this season, Wilson compiled 15 total tackles (eight solo) and a pass defensed.
Bengals head coach Zac Taylor confirmed Tuesday that Turner sustained a fractured clavicle during Sunday's loss to the Chargers and will be placed on injured reserve, Geoff Hobson of the Bengals' official site reports. Just as the Bengals had feared, Turner suffered a significant injury in the Week 11 loss, and there's a good chance he'll miss the remainder of the season as a result. The loss of Turner will likely open up a starting spot in the secondary for rookie fifth-rounder Josh Newton. Expect the Bengals to formally place Turner on IR later this week.
Wilson recorded eight tackles (four solo) in Sunday's 34-27 loss to the Chargers. The linebacker also played on every defensive snap for the ninth time in 11 games this season. Wilson is up to 104 tackles (55 solo) on the year, the fourth straight campaign in which he's made at least 100 stops. This year, he also has a pass breakup, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.
Pratt finished with eight tackles (four solo) in Sunday's 34-27 loss to the Chargers. The starting middle linebacker also played on 97 percent of the defensive snaps. Pratt has 97 tackles (57 solo), four passes defensed, an interception, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries in 2024.
