She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from Colorado State University, where she studied Journalism and Media Communication. She started writing for Heavy in 2025 with a prior focus on entertainment journalism as a Staff Writer and Copy Editor for Santa Barbara City College’s independent student newspaper.
