Domingo González: Everything you need to know

The Mariners optioned Gonzalez to Triple-A Tacoma on Wednesday. Gonzalez has made four Cactus League appearances, permitting one run with a 4:1 K:BB over four innings. The 26-year-old was a waiver claim off the Mariners last August and has yet to make his major-league debut.

The Mariners claimed Gonzalez off waivers and optioned him to Triple-A Tacoma on Tuesday. The right-hander was designated for assignment by Atlanta over the weekend but will retain a place on a 40-man roster with Seattle. Prior to the transaction, Gonzalez had spent the full season at Triple-A Gwinnett and had a 3.95 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 39:19 K:BB across 41 innings.

Atlanta designated Gonzalez for assignment Sunday, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports. He'll surrender his spot on the 40-man roster to waiver claim Connor Seabold. A 25-year-old right-hander, Gonzalez has yet to make his MLB debut and has spent the entire 2025 season at Triple-A Gwinnett, logging a 3.95 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 39:19 K:BB in 41 innings out of the bullpen.
