Jack Little: Everything you need to know

The Tigers reassigned Little to minor-league camp Wednesday, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports. Little was one of five non-roster invitees cut Wednesday as the Tigers move closer to setting their Opening Day roster. The 28-year-old righty is expected to report to Triple-A Toledo, where he'll likely spend most of the 2026 season. Little reached the majors for the first time in 2025 as a member of the Dodgers, making two relief appearances and yielding two earned runs over three innings.

The Tigers re-signed Little to a minor-league contract Tuesday. After being non-tendered by Detroit last month, Little will wind up staying in the organization. Slated to turn 28 in January, Little allowed two runs over three innings during his brief time in the majors in 2025 with the Dodgers.

Little was non-tendered by the Tigers on Friday. The Tigers claimed Little in early November but then designated him for assignment two weeks later. He'll now officially hit free agency. Little made his very brief MLB debut with the Dodgers in June and July.
