St. Brown secured all six targets for 45 yards and a touchdown and also threw a seven-yard touchdown on his only pass attempt in the Lions' 42-29 win over the Seahawks on Monday night. St. Brown recorded a team-high number of catches and his second receiving touchdown of the campaign on an eight-yard grab in the fourth quarter. However, his most eye-catching moment of the night came in the unusual role of quarterback, as he threw a seven-yard touchdown pass to Jared Goff on the Lions' version of the Philly Special just past the midway point of the third quarter. St. Brown now has at least six receptions in three straight games, and when he returns to action against the Cowboys on the road Sunday, Oct. 13 following a Week 5 bye, he'll be striving to reverse a two-game trend of dwindling receiving yardage totals.

Amon-Ra St. Brown Latest News
Records TDs through multiple means
Finds paydirt in Week 3 win
St. Brown caught seven of eight targets for 75 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 20-13 win over the Cardinals. St. Brown caught a five-yard touchdown in the second quarter, then played a key role in Detroit's next touchdown in the final minute of the first half, as St. Brown made a one-yard catch and lateraled to Jahmyr Gibbs, who ran the remaining 20 yards into the end zone. After catching just three of six targets for 13 yards in Week 1, St. Brown has bounced back with 18 catches on 26 targets for 192 yards and a touchdown in two subsequent games, giving the star receiver plenty of momentum heading into a Week 4 home game against the Seahawks on MNF.
Logs full practice Wednesday
St. Brown (quadriceps) practiced fully Wednesday. St. Brown departed this past Sunday's loss to the Buccaneers in the waning moments due to a leg contusion and cramping. Coach Dan Campbell told Richard Silva of The Detroit News on Monday that St. Brown "will be good," and the wide receiver's activity level to begin Week 3 prep supports that notion. St. Brown thus in on track to play Sunday at Arizona.
Injury severity downplayed
Coach Dan Campbell said Monday that St. Brown (lower leg) "will be good" and has a soft-tissue injury, Richard Silva of The Detroit News reports. St. Brown was forced out of Sunday's 20-16 loss to the Buccaneers with roughly 30 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter and missed the Lions' final five plays, but it looks like the team expects him to be available Week 3 against the Cardinals. After a quiet Week 1, St. Brown bounced back with 11 catches for 119 yards on 19 targets versus Tampa Bay. More information on his status will arrive Wednesday at the latest, when Detroit's first official injury report of Week 3 is released.
Dealing with contusion, cramping
St. Brown exited with about 30 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 20-16 loss to the Buccaneers due to a leg contusion and cramping, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. St. Brown missed the Lions' final five plays of the contest due to a possible lower-body issue, but the wideout seems to have escaped Week 2 action without any serious harm. That said, St. Brown's status nonetheless merits monitoring ahead of this coming Sunday's game against the Cardinals. After being limited to three catches for 13 yards in the Lions' Week 1 overtime win over the Rams, Brown bounced back in Sunday's contest with 11 receptions for 119 yards on 19 targets.
Possible lower-body injury
St. Brown, who briefly left Sunday's loss to the Buccaneers, appears to be dealing with a lower-body issue, Kyle Meinke of mlive.com reports. Per Meinke, St. Brown was seen limping out of the locker room after Sunday's contest, but for now the wideout's unspecified injury isn't believed to be serious. With that in mind, coach Dan Campbell said "he's all right. I don't think it's anything long-term, so that's good news." In any case, this report makes St. Brown's status worth monitoring ahead of next weekend's game against the Cardinals.
Bounces back with 19 Week 2 targets
St. Brown had 11 catches for 119 yards on 19 targets in Sunday's 20-16 loss to the Buccaneers. The Lions made a concerted effort to get St. Brown involved after his disappointing Week 1 performance, as the star receiver racked up 11 first-half targets, which he turned into six catches for 58 yards. St. Brown posted similar second-half production and finished with eight more targets than second-place Jameson Williams. There are plenty of mouths to feed in a Detroit offense that also features running backs Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery, as well as tight end Sam LaPorta, but St. Brown should maintain a prominent role after tying for second in the NFL with 119 catches and finishing third with 1,515 receiving yards during the 2023 regular season. The Lions will try to bounce back against the Cardinals in Week 3.
Quiet in Week 1 win
St. Brown had three catches for 13 yards on six targets in Sunday's 26-20 overtime win over the Rams. St. Brown was surprisingly quiet in the season opener while Jameson Williams racked up 121 receiving yards and a touchdown and Detroit's ground game took over late to get the team into the win column. You have to go back all the way to a four-yard performance against the Cowboys in Week 7 of 2022 to find the last time St. Brown had such few yards in a game, but it's much too early to press the panic button. The star receiver had at least 90 receiving yards in 11 of 16 regular-season appearances last year and will likely bounce back in Week 2 against the Buccaneers.
No preseason action
St. Brown did not play in Saturday's 24-17 preseason win over the Steelers. The Lions didn't play the majority of their starters this preseason and St. Brown was among them. He'll now turn his focus to a Week 1 matchup against the Rams and should remain the top pass-catching option in the offense after topping 145 targets in each of the last two seasons.
