Queen recorded 10 tackles (five solo) and a pass breakup in Sunday's 27-14 win over the Browns. The inside linebacker also played on every defensive snap for the 11th time in 13 games. Queen has 98 tackles (47 solo) in his first campaign with the Steelers, and he's probably a game away from his fourth 100-stop output in five pro seasons. The former Raven also has five pass breakups, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in 2024.

Patrick Queen Latest News
All over field in win
Queen recorded 10 tackles (five solo) and a pass breakup in Sunday's 27-14 win over the Browns. The inside linebacker also played on every defensive snap for the 11th time in 13 games. Queen has 98 tackles (47 solo) in his first campaign with the Steelers, and he's probably a game away from his fourth 100-stop output in five pro seasons. The former Raven also has five pass breakups, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in 2024.
Steelers' leading tackler Thursday
Queen recorded seven tackles (two solo) and a pass defensed during Thursday's 24-19 loss at Cleveland. Queen paced Pittsburgh's linebackers in snaps again in Week 12, and he posted seven-plus tackles for the eighth time in his last nine games. He profiles as a reasonable IDP option in most formats heading into a Week 13 tilt at Cincinnati.
Dominant versus former team
Queen recorded 10 tackles (three solo), a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in the Steelers' win over the Ravens on Sunday. Queen was dominant in his first game versus his former team as he forced a turnover in addition to being Pittsburgh's leading tackles. The 2020 first-round has now racked up 72 tackles (36 solo) across the first ten games of the season and will look to add to those totals during the team's Week 12 game versus the Browns.
Leads team in tackles in win
Queen recorded seven tackles (six solo), including two tackles for a loss and a pass defensed, in Sunday's 28-27 win over the Commanders. The inside linebacker also played on every defensive snap for the eighth time in nine games. Queen, who signed a three-year, $41-million contract in March, has 62 tackles (33 solo) and three pass breakups in 2024.
Piles up 13 stops
Queen recorded 13 tackles (six solo) in Sunday's 32-13 win over the Raiders. Queen is heating up with 37 tackles (18 solo) over the last four games. The 2020 first-round pick posted at least 98 tackles in each of his first four seasons in the league, including a career-best 133 stops last year. He'll remain an excellent IDP option moving forward.
Leads team in tackles
Queen registered eight tackles (four solo) and a pass deflection in Pittsburgh's 20-10 win over the Chargers on Sunday. Queen had his most productive outings of the season as he managed to lead the team in tackles. The 2020 first-round pick has now racked up 14 tackles (nine solo) across his first three games since signing with the Steelers in March.
Ready for Week 2
Queen (groin) has no injury designation ahead of Sunday's matchup with the Broncos, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports. The first-year Steeler popped up on Pittsburgh's injury report Thursday as a non-participant in practice, but after a full session Friday, it appears he's moved past his groin issue. Queen will look to rebound from a relatively disappoint Steeler debut, in which he recorded just two total tackles while playing 50 defensive snaps.
Sits out practice
Queen (groin) did not practice Thursday, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports. Queen played every snap of Sunday's win over the Falcons and practiced in full Wednesday, so it's not clear when he may have suffered the injury or how severe it may be. Friday's injury report will be worth monitoring, as any potential absence for Queen would be significant to the Steelers' defense against the Broncos in Week 2.
Headed to Pittsburgh
Queen is slated to ink a three-year, $41 million contract with the Steelers, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Queen had some rough patches in his first two NFL seasons, but he's now coming off back-to-back standout campaigns with Baltimore and set to bring his talents to a division rival after the Ravens declined to pick up his fifth-year option. The 2020 first-round pick tallied a career-high 133 tackles across 17 regular-season games in 2023, plus six pass breakups, 3.5 sacks and one interception, all while operating as a true every-down player in Baltimore's defense. The star off-ball linebacker will join forces with fellow standouts T.J. Watt (knee) and Alex Highsmith to form what looks like the NFL's best LB corps and a unit which the Steelers defense can build its identity around.
