A Chicago man was fatally shot Wednesday evening while streaming video himself on Facebook Live.

Antonio Perkins, 28, was shot about 8:45 p.m. on South Drake Street in the city’s Lawndale neighborhood, police told the Chicago Tribune.

It is the second time in recent months that a man was shot in Chicago while streaming video live on Facebook. Brian Fields was shot at 16 times in March while streaming video of himself. He was critically injured.

The video recorded Wednesday night shows Perkins filming himself with his phone, talking to the camera and other people while walking around on the sidewalk. As he stares into the camera, shots suddenly ring out. About 12 shots can be heard as Perkins falls to the ground and witnesses scream. The phone is then moved around for about a minute before it goes dark, with the sounds of witnesses still heard.

The video continues for about 30 minutes after the shooting.

This is so sad it will be impossible not to cry after listening to the family pour tears and describe what’s happening,” wrote Joyce Mosely, who posted the video. “You can’t even sit in front of your house and enjoy your families company anymore!!!!”

Perkins was a father of three children, ages 8, 6 and 2, and worked at McDonald’s, according to Fox 32 News. Police said he had gang ties, but his family told the news station he is no longer involved in gang activity.
