In response to an interview that Weaver did on CNN about Nevada, Wasserman-Schultz reacted angrily. The email itself is hard to read since it contains all the HTML coding, so we included a portion of the email above with some of the coding removed. The email started with one person writing, "FYI, this morning on CNN Jeff Weaver was asked about the protests and threats of violence in Nevada. He begins by saying Sanders supporters should 'act in a civil way' but then goes on to hit the state party..." Wasserman-Schultz wrote in response: "Damn liar. Particularly scummy that he barely acknowledges the violent and threatening behavior that occurred." Another person responds: "At one point someone mentioned that "Roberta said she'd yet to hear anything from the Sanders campaign. MSNBC also played a video clip of Sanders at a press avail today in Puerto Rico; when asked about Nevada he walks away mid question." You can read the email in its original form here.
