AJ Stone is a sportswriter and journalist based in Phoenix, AZ. He specializes in baseball, but he has covered various other sports including football, basketball, and tennis. He currently covers all of MLB for Heavy Sports with a focus on the St. Louis Cardinals.

Education
AJ attended Ottawa University Arizona, where he spent two years playing collegiate baseball. He was later accepted into the prestigious “J-School” at the University of Missouri School of Journalism and will attend beginning in fall 2026, majoring in Journalism with a minor in Philosophy.
