Trevor Larnach: Breaking News

Larnach went 2-for-4 with a triple, an RBI, a run scored, a stolen base and a walk in Monday's 11-4 win over Seattle. Larnach reached base three times in Monday's offensive outburst, extending his on-base streak to 13 games. The outfielder's strong walk rate has fueled his production, as the 29-year-old is slashing .259/.419/.397 with five extra-base hits, eight RBI, 11 runs and a stolen base through 22 games in 2026.

Larnach is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Red Sox. The left-handed-hitting Larnach will sit for the second time in the series while the Red Sox send another southpaw (Connelly Early) to the bump for the finale. A career .215/.276/.317 hitter against lefties, Larnach will likely continue to see limited exposure to same-handed pitching throughout the season.

Larnach went 1-for-3 with a walk and a three-run home run during the Twins' 7-4 win over the Blue Jays on Saturday. The Twins scored all seven of their runs in the third inning, which Larnach capped off with a 398-foot, three-run homer to right field off Eric Lauer. It was Larnach's first home run of the 2026 season and first game with a RBI since April 3 against the Rays. He has gone 6-for-22 (.273) with five RBI and two doubles to open year.
