Tobias Harris: Breaking News

Harris recorded five points (0-6 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 5-6 FT), five rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal over 23 minutes during Sunday's 125-94 loss to the Cavaliers in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Harris turned in his worst performance of the postseason, scoring under seven points for the second straight game. While it was certainly not the way he wanted the season to end, his production for the majority of the playoffs was exemplary. Through 14 appearances, he averaged 18.1 points, 7.2 rebounds, 1.4 three-pointers and 2.3 combined steals and blocks.

Harris closed with 16 points (6-17 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, five assists, two steals and one block over 36 minutes during Monday's 112-103 loss to the Cavaliers in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Harris saw a heavy workload on the offensive end once again, though he struggled with efficiency in this one. The veteran forward scored fewer than 20 points after eight straight games reaching that mark, but he still finished as Detroit's third-leading scorer. He also led the team in rebounds and chipped in at least three combined steals-plus-blocks for the fifth time this postseason.

Harris recorded 21 points (7-14 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 5-5 FT) and five rebounds across 38 minutes during Saturday's 116-109 loss to the Cavaliers in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Harris tallied eight points in both the first and third quarters of Saturday's game and finished as the Pistons' second-leading scorer behind Cade Cunningham (27 points). Harris averaged 13.3 points per game during the regular season but has been more active offensively during the playoffs. He has scored 20-plus points in eight consecutive games, and over that span he has averaged 22.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 0.8 assists, 1.9 threes and 1.5 steals over 36.6 minutes per contest.
