The Eagles elevated Uzomah from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday. Uzomah was elevated for Week 11 against the Commanders and played three snaps on offense without recording a stat.
The Eagles activated Covey (shoulder) from injured reserve Saturday, and he carries no injury designation into Sunday's game against the Rams. Covey suffered a shoulder injury in Week 3 against the Saints, which forced him to be sidelined for the Eagles' last seven games. The 27-year-old wideout was a full participant in practice all week, and he's progressed through his injury enough to play Sunday. Covey has logged seven catches on as many targets for 34 yards in three regular-season games.
Covey (shoulder) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Rams. Covey has missed the Eagles' last seven games due to a shoulder injury sustained the Week 3 win over the Saints. The Utah product practiced in full all week and appears to be trending toward playing in Sunday's contest, but he must still be activated to Philadelphia's active roster in order to suit up. If Covey can play in Week 12, he'll likely assume the Eagle's top punt return duties and serve as a depth piece in their wide receiver room.
Williams (foot) has no injury designation ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Rams. Williams was unable to practice Wednesday after sustaining a foot injury in the Eagles' Week 11 win over the Commanders. However, he upgraded to full participation in Friday's practice, appearing to have now moved past the issue. The Louisiana Tech product has recorded 13 total tackles across Philadelphia's first 10 games this season, and he's expected to serve as one of the team's top defensive ends in Week 12.
The Eagles placed Huff (wrist) on injured reserve Friday. Huff will undergo surgery on his wrist and will miss a minimum of four games on injured reserve. Huff has played 225 defensive snaps as a rotational edge rusher, recording 10 tackles (five solo), including 2.5 sacks, four QB hits and one forced fumble.
Smith (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game at the Rams. Smith took 89 percent of snaps on offense in a 26-18 win over Washington this past Sunday, but he didn't practice at all this week and now is confirmed to be missing at least one game. His absence could push even more targets to WR A.J. Brown, TE Dallas Goedert and RB Saquon Barkley, as the leading candidates to take Smith's WR snaps (Jahan Dotson and Johnny Wilson) both have been targeted on less than 11 percent of their routes this year. Smith's next chance to play will come seven days later, Sunday, Dec. 1 at Baltimore in a battle between Mid-Atlantic heavyweights.
Smith (hamstring) isn't practicing Friday and appears in serious danger of missing Sunday's game at the Rams, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports. Smith hasn't practiced all week, and it remains to be seen if he's listed as questionable, doubtful or out on Philadelphia's final injury report. A 'questionable' designation would create a tricky situation for a lot of fantasy managers with the Eagles and Rams playing Sunday night.
Dean (groin) was a full practice participant Thursday. Dean was limited in Wednesday's practice due to a groin injury, but that didn't hold him back during Thursday's session. Barring any setbacks, the 2022 third-round pick should be good to go against the Rams on Sunday. In the six regular-season games since the Eagles' Week 5 bye, Dean has logged 50 tackles (31 solo), including 2.0 sacks, three pass defenses (including one interception) and one fumble recovery.
