Philadelphia signed Jenkins to a reserve/future contract Tuesday. Jenkins spent the 2025 campaign on Philadelphia's practice squad, and he was elevated for two regular-season appearances with the team. The tight end played 11 offensive snaps (zero targets) and 31 snaps on special teams in those contests. He'll get an opportunity to continue his development with the Eagles during the coming offseason.
Jenkins reverted to the Eagles' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log. Jenkins was elevated to the Eagles' practice squad for Saturday's 29-18 win over the Commanders, when he played 18 snaps (six on offense, 12 on special teams) without showing up on the box score otherwise. He's eligible to be elevated from the practice squad once more this season, which could come as soon as Week 17 against the Bills.
The Eagles elevated Jenkins from the practice squad to the active roster Friday. This marks the second time this season Jenkins has been elevated to the active roster. In his one game against Minnesota in Week 7, the 27-year-old contributed 5 snaps on offense and 19 on special teams, but didn't record any stats. The second-year pro will likely play a similar role for the Eagles on Saturday.
