Seattle re-signed White (groin) on Wednesday. White appears fully recovered after having been placed on IR due to a groin injury suffered late December. Across 10 regular-season appearances in 2025, he secured three of four targets for 90 yards and one touchdown. White will spend the offseason competing for a chance to reprise a depth role in the Seahawks' wide receiver corps.
The Seahawks moved White (groin) to injured reserve Tuesday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports. White sustained the injury early in the first quarter of last Sunday's game against the Titans. With the move to injured reserve, White will be able to return only for a potential Super Bowl matchup, and even then, only if the Seahawks do not score the first-round bye that comes with the NFC's top seed. In corresponding moves, the team signed Amari Kight to the active roster and signed Montorie Foster to the practice squad as a potential elevation replacement for White.
White (groin) is doubtful to return to Sunday's game against the Panthers. White appeared to sustain the injury early in the first quarter while on punt coverage. The Seahawks would be down a pivotal contributor on special teams if White is unable to return, and Dareke Young and Jake Bobo are poised to take on larger roles on offense.
