Robinson (finger) is available to play in Game 2 of the NBA Finals versus the Spurs on Friday. Robinson was diagnosed with a fractured metacarpal in his right hand heading into the series. However, despite uncertainty regarding his availability, he was cleared to suit up for Game 1, finishing with two points and six rebounds across 13 minutes. Robinson will presumably carry an injury designation throughout the remainder of the NBA Finals, though he will likely continue playing through the issue assuming he doesn't suffer any setbacks along the way.

Karl-Anthony Towns : Double-doubles in Game 2 win
Towns produced 21 points (8-12 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 13 rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block over 34 minutes during Friday's 105-104 Game 2 win of the NBA Finals over the Spurs. Towns did an excellent job picking his spots offensively, scoring efficiently while consistently delivering clutch baskets for the Knicks. He finished as a plus-11 in the one-point victory, helping New York take a commanding 2-0 series lead as the matchup shifts back to Madison Square Garden for Game 3 on Monday.
Mitchell Robinson : Cleared to play in Game 2
Robinson (finger) is available to play in Game 2 of the NBA Finals versus the Spurs on Friday. Robinson was diagnosed with a fractured metacarpal in his right hand heading into the series. However, despite uncertainty regarding his availability, he was cleared to suit up for Game 1, finishing with two points and six rebounds across 13 minutes. Robinson will presumably carry an injury designation throughout the remainder of the NBA Finals, though he will likely continue playing through the issue assuming he doesn't suffer any setbacks along the way.
Mitchell Robinson : Probable for Game 2
Robinson (finger) is probable for Game 2 of the NBA Finals versus San Antonio on Friday. Robinson is expected to play through a fractured right finger Friday, which he also did during New York's Game 1 win. The 28-year-old big man has averaged 5.1 points, 5.5 rebounds and 0.6 blocks in 14.1 minutes per contest through 14 games in the 2026 playoffs, shooting 72.5 percent from the field.
Karl-Anthony Towns : Double-doubles in Game 1 win
Towns logged 18 points (7-15 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 12 rebounds, four assists and one block across 34 minutes during Wednesday's 105-95 victory over the Spurs in Game 1 of the NBA Finals. Towns certainly held his own in the win, recording his second straight double-double, while also helping to put the clamps on Victor Wembanyama. In his past nine appearances, Towns has been a picture of consistency, averaging 15.9 points, 10.2 rebounds, 5.6 assists, 1.6 three-pointers and 1.9 combined steals and blocks.
Josh Hart : Game-high 15 rebounds
Hart posted three points (1-5 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 15 rebounds, six assists, one block and four steals in 27 minutes during Wednesday's 105-95 victory over the Spurs in Game 1 of the NBA Finals. Hart struggled to get his offense going, and yet was arguably the most impactful player on the court. He led the Knicks in rebounds, assists and steals, despite playing just 27 minutes due to early foul trouble. He continues to press his claim as one of the best role players in the league, consistently chipping in across all categories. Now leading the series 1-0, New York will look to hammer home the advantage when the two teams meet again in Game 2.
Jalen Brunson : Guides Knicks to Game 1 win
Brunson put up 30 points (12-31 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three rebounds and two assists across 37 minutes during Wednesday's 105-95 Game 1 win of the Finals in San Antonio. Brunson appeared to tweak his right knee during the first quarter and later twisted an ankle in the second, but he powered through both issues and said afterward that he'll be fine. The three-time All-Star delivered in the clutch for New York, scoring 13 of his 30 points in the fourth quarter, including a tough 14-foot pull-up jumper with 30 seconds remaining to help seal the victory. The Knicks are now 6-0 this postseason when Brunson scores at least 30 points.
Jalen Brunson : Returns to Game 1
Brunson (leg) has returned to Wednesday's Game 1 of the Finals versus San Antonio, Ramona Shelbourne of ESPN.com reports. Brunson briefly exited the game after Harrison Barnes fell back into his right leg, but after getting a quick checkup in the locker room, he returned to the game. It appears Brunson has avoided a serious injury.
Jalen Brunson : Exits to locker room
Brunson (undisclosed) exited Game 1 of the NBA Finals versus San Antonio on Wednesday, Chris Mannix of SI reports. Brunson exited the contest in the first quarter. Although nothing official has been reported regarding his condition, he left the game after appearing to tweak his right knee. If he doesn't return, Jose Alvarado could see more action the rest of the way.
