Cut loose by Miami

The Dolphins cut Myarick from the practice squad Friday. Myarick failed to make the Dolphins' 53-man roster in August but has been a practice squad staple since Oct. 22. The tight end was not elevated for any games this season. The 30-year-old is available to sign with any practice squad or team that may need an additional tight end throughout the playoffs.

Back with Miami

The Dolphins signed Myarick to their practice squad Wednesday. The 30-year-old from Temple was let go by the Dolphins in late August after failing to make the team's initial 53-man roster, but he's since been brought back to the practice squad. Myarick's last in-game action came with the Giants in 2022, when he caught seven of eight targets for 65 yards and a touchdown over 16 regular-season contests. His signing adds depth to Miami's tight-end corps, with Darren Waller (pectoral) being placed on injured reserve Wednesday.

Released by Dolphins

Myarick was released by the Dolphins on Tuesday. Myarick signed with the Dolphins in early August to provide depth in the team's tight end room. However, he was unable to carve out a role and will hope to land with a practice squad around the league.
