Michael Kaskey-Blomain is an NBA and NFL contributor for Heavy with well over a decade in the industry. He began his career covering the Philadelphia sports scene at the Philadelphia Inquirer before transitioning to a role as a National NBA Writer with CBS Sports. In that role, Michael covered games and tentpole NBA events including the draft, wrote hundreds of in-depth articles and conducted one-on-one interviews with some of the biggest stars in the game including Jayson Tatum, Draymond Green and Allen Iverson, among others.
Michael also serves as a credentialed Philadelphia 76ers reporter and insider for ESPN 97.3, where he attends Sixers games, press conferences and events and keeps his finger firmly on the pulse of the franchise. His work also appears in The Sporting News.
Education
Michael Kaskey-Blomain graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor's degree in communications. He continued his studies in the field at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he graduated with a master's degree in broadcasting, telecommunications and mass media.
