Singleton and the Broncos agreed to a two-year, $15.5 million contract Monday that includes $11 million guaranteed, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports. Singleton's 2024 season was cut short due to a torn ACL, but the Montana State product bounced back in a big way in 2025. He lead the Broncos in stops, finishing with 135 tackles (54 solo), including 1.0 sacks, and one forced fumble across 16 regular-season games, and he added another 26 combined tackles over Denver's two playoff games. Singleton has posted 100-plus tackles in five of seven NFL seasons, and his return solidifies the Broncos' interior linebacker corps that also includes Justin Strnad but not Dre Greenlaw after the latter was released Monday, per Stevens.

Alex Singleton: Breaking News
Leads Denver in tackles in 2025
Singleton recorded 135 tackles (54 solo) to go with one sack, four passes defensed and one forced fumble while playing in 16 games of the 2025 season. Singleton bounced back in a big way this season after suffering a season-ending torn ACL in Week 3 of the 2024 season. The 32-year-old linebacker led all Broncos defenders in tackles, proving once again to be a difference maker for Denver's formidable defense. Singleton is set to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason, and it's possible the Broncos will want to be aggressive in re-signing him based on his consistently high levels of performance. Otherwise, it's likely the veteran will garner a lot of interest from teams around the league who are desperate for strong linebacker play.
Just four tackles Christmas Day
Singleton finished Thursday's 20-13 win over the Chiefs with four tackles (two solo). Singleton played 42 of 43 defensive snaps (97.7 percent), but his four tackles were a season low. The veteran linebacker is up to 128 tackles (51 solo), including 1.0 sacks, three pass defenses and one forced fumble through 15 regular-season games. The Broncos wrap up the regular season in Week 18 against the Chargers, when they'll look to lock up the No. 1 seed in the AFC heading into the playoffs.
