Bailey Horn: Everything you need to know

The Tigers transferred Horn (elbow) to the 60-day injured list Wednesday, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports. Horn is coming back from offseason arthroscopic left elbow surgery and had to be pulled off his rehab assignment last week because of a setback. It's not clear where Horn's rehab currently stands, but the reliever now won't be eligible for activation until late May.

The Tigers paused Horn's (elbow) rehab assignment Tuesday, Cody Stavenhagen of The Athletic reports. Horn has been working his way back from an arthroscopic surgery he underwent on his left elbow in the offseason and has made two rehab appearances with Detroit's Single-A affiliate, but he appears to have suffered a setback. An updated timeline for his return may emerge after he undergoes further evaluation.

Horn (elbow) will begin a rehab assignment Tuesday at Single-A Lakeland, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports. Horn missed the entirety of spring training while working his way back from an elbow procedure he underwent in the offseason, so he'll likely require an extended stay in the minors before coming off the injured list. Once healthy, the 28-year-old may take a middle-relief role with the big club after posting a 1.59 ERA over 11.1 frames with the Tigers last season.
