Happ went 1-for-5 with a solo home run and a stolen base in Saturday's 6-1 win over the Giants. Happ reached on a fielder's choice in the third inning and stole second, allowing Michael Busch to swipe home at the same time. While Happ is just 4-for-27 (.148) over his last eight games, three of his hits in that span have gone for extra bases. The outfielder is hitting .227 with an .827 OPS, 16 homers, 37 RBI, 46 runs scored, four steals, 13 doubles and two triples over 67 contests this season.

Ian Happ: Breaking News
Lifts off in loss
Happ went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 3-2 loss to the Rockies. Happ got the scoring started for both teams in the fourth inning with his 15th home run of the season. The veteran outfielder is on pace to surpass the 23 long balls he recorded during the 2025 regular season if he can stay healthy, and he could push toward the first 30-homer campaign of his 10-year MLB career. The power surge has Happ's OPS at .838, which would be his highest since 2020.
Big game Thursday
Happ went 2-for-4 with a double, a home run, an additional run scored and three total RBI in Thursday's 7-6 win over the Athletics. Happ delivered his second straight two-hit effort and helped power the Cubs to a win. The veteran is now up 14 home runs and 34 RBI through 59 games, while also scoring 42 runs. Happ has been a consistent fantasy performer for a number of years now, and his ability to regularly get on base and hit for decent power sustains his value. The outfielder also rarely misses time, having played in 150 games or more the last four seasons. Happ has played in all but four of Chicago's contests so far this year.
