Cason Wallace: Breaking News

Wallace logged 17 points (6-10 FG, 5-9 3Pt), seven rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block over 36 minutes during the Thunder's 111-103 loss to the Spurs in Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals on Saturday. After coming off the bench in the Thunder's last two games, Wallace was back in the starting lineup for Game 7 to give the Thunder a spark in the absences of Jalen Williams (hamstring) and Ajay Mitchell (calf). Across 14 postseason games, Wallace is averaging 8.0 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.3 assists.

Wallace won't start Tuesday's Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals against the Spurs, Josue Pavon of ClutchPoints.com reports. Jared McCain will get the starting nod with Jalen Williams (hamstring) and Ajay Mitchell (calf) sidelined, pushing Wallace back to the second unit. Through four games (one start) in the series, the third-year guard has averaged 9.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.8 steals and 2.3 assists in 25.5 minutes per tilt.
