Lamb recorded seven receptions on 14 targets for 89 yards in Sunday's 49-7 loss to the Lions. Lamb turned in a reasonable fantasy performance on the surface, but his path to getting there is less reassuring. He got off to a quick start by tallying three receptions for 31 yards on the Cowboys' opening drive but was then limited to very short gains until he turned in a pair of 19-yard receptions with Dallas down by four scores late in the third quarter. Overall, Lamb averaged only 6.4 yards per target and has still yet to hit 100 receiving yards in a game this season.

CeeDee Lamb Latest News
Limited production on 14 targets
Modest numbers on six touches
Lamb had five receptions (nine targets) for 62 yards while adding one rush for three yards in Sunday's 20-17 win over the Steelers. Lamb didn't have a standout performance on Sunday Night Football, and teammates Rico Dowdle and Jalen Tolbert collected both of Dak Prescott's touchdown passes in the comeback victory. The 25-year-old Lamb has produced a 25-378-2 receiving line through five games with Dallas this year as the team prepares to host Detroit next Sunday.
Paces pass catchers in win
Lamb secured seven of eight targets for 98 yards and a touchdown and rushed three times for eight yards in the Cowboys' 20-15 win over the Giants on Thursday night. Lamb co-led the Cowboys in receptions and set the pace in both receiving yards and targets for the team on the night. The star wideout also recorded his second touchdown of the season on a 55-yard grab in the second quarter, a fitting antidote for any lingering tension there may have been between him and Dak Prescott stemming from a Week 3 sideline argument. Lamb still is on a quest for his first 100-yard game of the season, a benchmark he'll next have a chance of hitting in a Week 5 road battle against the Steelers on Sunday, Oct. 6.
Quiet against Baltimore
Lamb recorded four catches on seven targets for 67 yards while also losing a fumble in Sunday's 28-25 loss to the Ravens. Lamb saw a disappointing seven targets on Dak Prescott's 51 pass attempts and had a muted stat line against Baltimore. Interestingly, he had the majority of his production in the first half when Dallas struggled to move the ball, yet he was mostly silent as the team made a furious comeback late in the contest. Much like the Cowboys offense, Lamb has gotten off to a disappointing start to the season, as he's been held under 70 receiving yards in two of three games and has yet to hit 100 yards in a matchup.
Cleared to face Ravens
Lamb (ankle) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against Baltimore, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports. Lamb rested Wednesday before upgrading to a limited practice Thursday and full participation Friday. He should be fine for his usual role as a near every-down player and target hog this Sunday against a Ravens defense that has started the season slow under new coordinator Zach Orr.
On track to play
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Friday that he's confident Lamb (ankle) will play Sunday against Baltimore, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports. Coach Mike McCarthy expressed similar optimism Thursday, when Lamb returned to practice as a limited participant after missing Wednesday's session. Lamb himself told Machota that he's fine and that the issue is nothing more than soreness. It sounds like he may even avoid an injury designation on the Cowboys' final Week 3 injury report.
Back practicing, should play Week 3
Head coach Mike McCarthy said Lamb (ankle) will be a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports. Lamb was held out of the Cowboys' first Week 3 practice Wednesday, but McCarthy notes that the receiver's ankle injury is "not of high concern," according to Jon Machota of The Athletic. The Cowboys expect Lamb to be available for Sunday's game against the Ravens, though he might need to upgrade to full practice participation Friday to avoid taking a questionable tag into the weekend.
DNP due to ankle issue
Lamb was a non-participant at Wednesday's practice due to an ankle injury, Nick Harris of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports. This is the first mention of a health concern for Lamb this season, but he at least has two more sessions this week to put himself in a position to suit up Sunday against the Ravens. Through two games on the campaign, he's gathered in nine of 17 targets for 151 yards and one touchdown.
Catches first TD of 2024
Lamb caught four of seven targets for 90 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 44-19 loss to the Saints. It didn't take Lamb too long to show that he was back up to speed after his training-camp holdout, hauling in a 65-yard TD in the second quarter that saw him beat two defenders along the sideline before sprinting to the end zone. It's Lamb's first touchdown of the season after he scored a career-high 14 in 2023, 12 receiving and two rushing. He remains Dak Prescott's top target heading into a Week 3 clash with the Ravens.
