McLaurin finished with seven receptions on 10 targets for 89 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 23-20 win over Tampa Bay. McLaurin was narrowly edged out by Mike Evans (7-92-1) for the best receiving line in this wild-card round showdown, but the former got the last laugh after finishing on the winning side Sunday. The 29-year-old McLaurin now has 14 touchdown receptions in 18 combined regular and postseason games this year, which matches the combined total from his previous three seasons. Rookie Jayden Daniels' strong quarterback play has been the key difference, as the QB/WR duo have hit the air flying in their first season as teammates. McLaurin will have a prime opportunity to put up big numbers in the divisional round of the playoffs against a banged-up Lions secondary Saturday.

Terry McLaurin Latest News
Strong numbers in playoff win
Game-winning TD secures No. 6 seed
McLaurin caught eight of 12 targets for 62 yards and a touchdown Sunday's 23-19 win over the Cowboys. McLaurin caught a game-winning five-yard touchdown from Marcus Mariota with three seconds remaining in the fourth quarter, ensuring that Washington finishes as the No. 6 seed in the NFC. The Commanders will go on the road to face the No. 3 seed (either the Rams or Buccaneers) in the wild-card round. The standout wide receiver finishes the regular season with 82 catches for 1,096 yards and a career-high 13 touchdowns on 117 targets overall, marking the fifth consecutive season in which McLaurin has exceeded 1,000 receiving yards.
Struggles in Week 17
McLaurin caught just one of seven targets for five yards in Sunday's 30-24 overtime win over the Falcons. McLaurin picked a horrible time to post his worst fantasy score of the season for managers. The steady veteran tied his season-low in receptions while setting new lows in catch rate (14 percent) and receiving yards (five). Assuming his managers still have something to play for, McLaurin makes for a strong bounce-back candidate against the Cowboys next Sunday.
Cleared to play
McLaurin (ankle) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Falcons. McLaurin improved from non-participation Wednesday to a limited practice Thursday to a full session Friday. He should be ready for his usual workload Sunday night, leading a WR group that won't have Dyami Brown (hamstring).
Returns as limited Thursday
McLaurin (ankle) practiced in a limited fashion Thursday. McLaurin opened Week 17 prep listed as a non-participant on Wednesday's practice estimate, but his return to the field one day later has put him on a path to being available Sunday against the Falcons. Friday's injury report will unveil whether or not he enters the weekend with a designation for that contest as he looks to continue building upon the 73-1,029-12 line on 98 targets that he's compiled so far in 15 contests this season.
Tending to ankle issue
McLaurin was listed as a non-participant on Wednesday's estimated practice report due to an ankle injury. This marks the first time McLaurin's practice reps have been impacted by a health concern this season, but he'll have two more sessions this week to mix into drills before the Commanders potentially make a ruling on his status ahead of Sunday's game versus the Falcons. Along with a career-high 12 touchdowns in 15 games this season, McLaurin has reached 70 catches and 1,000 yards in five consecutive campaigns.
Hauls in 12th TD in Sunday's win
McLaurin caught five of six targets for 60 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 36-33 win over the Eagles. The veteran wideout hit paydirt on a beautiful 32-yard toss from Jayden Daniels in the second quarter that dropped in right over McLaurin's shoulder, but the Philly secondary focused their efforts on shutting him down the rest of the day. That strategy backfired when it left Olamide Zaccheaus and Jamison Crowder open for four more Daniels TDs. McLaurin still crossed the 70-catch and 1,000-yard milestones for the fifth straight season with his performance, and his 12 touchdowns in 15 games shatters his previous career high of seven. McLaurin will take aim at his personal best of 1,191 yards -- he's 162 yards shy -- in Week 17 against the Falcons.
Scary good output Sunday
McLaurin finished with seven receptions (on 10 targets) for 73 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 20-19 win over the Saints. McLaurin teamed up with quarterback Jayden Daniels to score both of Washington's touchdowns on the day. It was Scary Terry's second consecutive game with multiple trips to the end zone, and his fourth overall this season (11 total touchdowns). The 28-year-old is just 31 yards shy of recording his fifth 1,000-yard campaign in his sixth season with the Commanders. McLaurin should accomplish the feat with ease in a pivotal matchup against the Eagles next Sunday.
Third two-TD game of 2024
McLaurin caught all eight of his targets for 73 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 42-19 win over the Titans. McLaurin extended Washington's advantage to 21-0 with a 16-yard touchdown catch in the final minute of the first quarter, then caught a three-yard touchdown in the second quarter. After getting off to slow starts in recent weeks, McLaurin piled up six catches for 52 yards and two touchdowns in the first half of this lopsided win. He wasn't heavily involved in the second half as the Commanders rode their running game while nursing a hefty lead. McLaurin has three multi-touchdown games and nine receiving scores overall heading into Washington's Week 14 bye.
