Ismail (undisclosed) was placed on the practice squad injured list Friday, Clifton Brown of Baltimore's official site reports. Ismail will be out of action for a while from the team's practice squad as he deals with an unknown injury. With the 6-foot-6 pass catcher now out, tight end Zaire Mitchell-Paden has been re-signed to the practice squad in a corresponding move.
Ismail signed with the Ravens' practice squad Wednesday, Ryan Mink of the team's official site reports. Ismail linked up with Baltimore in May as an undrafted free agent and is the son of Qadry Ismail. Although he was unable to make the team's 53-man roster out of camp, he'll now have the opportunity to stick with the team's practice squad.
