Acuna went 2-for-3 with a walk, two runs scored and a stolen base in Sunday's win over the Phillies. The steal was Acuna's sixth of the season in 29 games, albeit in 10 attempts. While it's encouraging to see the 28-year-old outfielder running more freely -- it took him 95 games to record 10 SB attempts in 2025 -- Acuna's bat hasn't gotten going yet, as he's slashing .239/.356/.358 with two homers, eight RBI and 14 runs.

Ronald Acuña: Breaking News
Swats second homer Friday
Acuna went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and two walks in Friday's 5-3 win over the Phillies. After Trea Turner hit a two-run homer in the top of the third inning, Acuna answered right back with a game-tying two-run shot of his own off Andrew Painter in the bottom half of the frame. It was just Acuna's second homer of the season and snapped an 11-game drought after it took him 14 games to hit his first of the year. He's been scuffling at the plate to begin the 2026 campaign and will carry a .235/.350/.363 slash line with two homers, eight RBI, 12 runs scored, four stolen bases and a 16:22 BB:K over 123 plate appearances into the weekend.
Good to go Tuesday
Acuna (hand) is starting in right field and batting leadoff Tuesday against the Nationals. Acuna exited Monday's contest after being struck in the left hand by a pitch, but he's back in the lineup a day later after X-rays came back negative. The 28-year-old outfielder has a .304/.418/.500 slash line with four doubles, a triple, a homer, two steals, three RBI and nine runs in his past 12 games as he's bounced back from a slow start to the campaign.
