Yesavage (3-3) earned the win Friday, allowing five runs on four hits and six walks over five innings against the Yankees. He struck out three. It certainly wasn't Yesavage's best performance as he walked at least six for the second time this season, though it was enough to net the win since the Blue Jays built up an early lead and tacked on late. The right-hander has surrendered five or more runs in three of his past four starts and has a 6.85 ERA and 18:17 K:BB across 22.1 innings during that span.

Trey Yesavage: Breaking News
Falls apart in sixth frame
Yesavage (2-3) took the loss against the Orioles on Friday, allowing six runs on fits hits and two walks while striking out five across 5.2 innings. Yesavage was excellent through the first five innings of Friday's start outside of a solo home run that he yielded to Adley Rutschman in the first. Yesavage was brought back out for the sixth, but he did not come away with the quality start after giving up five runs in the frame, with his night coming to an end after giving up a two-run homer to Coby Mayo. Yesavage has allowed at least five runs in two of his last three starts and sits at a 3.16 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 44:19 K:BB across 42.2 innings this season. His next start is slated for next weekend at home against the Yankees.
Can't find plate in no-decision
Yesavage didn't factor into the decision Saturday, allowing one run on two hits and seven walks over five innings as the Blue Jays were downed 6-5 by the Orioles. He struck out four. The seven free passes shattered Yesavage's previous career high of three in a start, but the 22-year-old right-hander limited the damage to a third-inning single by Gunnar Henderson and left the mound in line for his third win of the season, only for Jeff Hoffman and the bullpen to collapse in the ninth. Yesavage will take a 2.19 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 39:17 K:BB through 37 innings into his next outing, which is scheduled to come on the road next week in Atlanta.
