Warren did not factor into the decision Monday against the Royals, allowing two runs on three hits and three walks while striking out three over six innings. Warren battled some command trouble early, walking three batters in the second inning to load the bases before a sacrifice fly brought home Kansas City's first run. The right-hander settled in nicely afterward, retiring 11 of the next 13 hitters he faced before Salvador Perez tied the game with a solo homer in the sixth inning. Warren continues to consistently limit damage, now holding opponents to two or fewer runs in nine of his 11 starts this season. He owns a 3.55 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 65:16 K:BB across 58.1 innings and is lined up for a matchup against the Athletics on Sunday, his second start of the week.

William Warren: Breaking News
Collects sixth win of 2026
Warren (6-1) earned the win against the Blue Jays on Tuesday, allowing three runs on six hits and one walk while striking out three across five innings. Warren was solid for most of Tuesday's start, during which he retired eight consecutive batters from the first to third innings. He was shaky in the fourth frame, when he yielded three runs on four hits (all singles) and a walk, but he came back out to finish the fifth and ended his night tossing 54 strikes on 86 pitches (62.8 percent strike rate) with nine whiffs and eight groundouts. Warren has picked up the win in five of his last six starts and has a 3.61 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 62:13 K:BB across 52.1 innings this season. He's lined up to face the Rays at home this weekend.
Snags fifth win
Warren (5-1) picked up the win Tuesday, giving up two runs on four hits and a walk over 5.2 innings in a 6-2 victory over the Orioles. He struck out six. The right-hander blanked Baltimore through five innings but fell just short of his fourth quality start of the season, getting lifted after 96 pitches (62 strikes) when three hits including two doubles led to the first runs of the game for the O's. Warren has been racking up wins of late, going 4-1 over his last five starts with a 4.03 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 39:6 K:BB through 29 innings as he builds his case to remain in the rotation when Gerrit Cole (elbow) comes off the IL before the end of the month. Warren is scheduled to make his next trip to the mound at home early next week against the Blue Jays.
