Tremayne will officially return to Carolina for at least another season after being tendered by the club in early March. The 26-year-old was a regular part of the offense for the first time as a pro last year, tallying 14 catches for 160 yards over 262 offensive snaps spanning 16 regular-season games. He also played regularly on special teams and likely will retain the same role as a depth wideout and special-teamer during the upcoming season.

The Panthers placed an exclusive rights free-agent tender on Tremayne on Wednesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Tremayne will return to Carolina after securing 14 of 18 targets for 160 scoreless yards across 16 regular-season appearances during the 2025 campaign. In addition to his role as a depth wideout, Tremayne was a fixture on special teams for Carolina, logging 230 snaps in kick coverage.

Tremayne had appeared in just two NFL games and totaled minus-2 receiving yards prior to his 2025 campaign with the Panthers, but he emerged as a valuable contributor this season. The Stanford product tallied 11.4 yards per reception while also playing a significant role on special teams, logging 262 offensive snaps and 231 on special teams. Set to become an exclusive-rights free agent following Carolina's 2025 playoff run, Tremayne is expected to be retained by the Panthers. If he returns for 2026, he'd likely remain a depth option at wide receiver while contributing on special teams.
