Jaylon Jones: Breaking News

Jones (hamstring) was activated from the injured reserve list Saturday and will play in Sunday's matchup against the Steelers. The Texas A&M product was a full practice participant throughout the week and now appears set to return Sunday after missing the Colts' last seven games due to a hamstring injury. With Jones back to full health, he's likely to operate as one of Indianapolis' top boundary corners in Week 9.

Jones (groin) is not expected to be activated from injured reserve ahead of Sunday's game against the Titans, Kevin Bowen of 107.5 The Fan Indianapolis reports. Jones has been sidelined since going down with the groin injury in Week 1. Mekhi Blackmon and Cameron Mitchell handled outside cornerback duties with Kenny Moore covering the slot last Sunday against the Chargers.

Jones (hamstring) was designated to return from injured reserve Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Jones suffered the injury in Week 1 and has been sidelined since. It's unclear whether he'll be able to return for the Colts' Week 8 matchup against the Titans, but he did turn in a limited practice Wednesday.
